Part of a group of objects that each have a similar profile, thin with a pointed end. Two appear cylindrical, whereas the others have a square profile. The appearance and general form of these items matches the ancient Egyptian awl, which were used to pierce holes in leather, as seen in the Tomb of Rekhmire, showing a sandal-maker, as well as in carpentry and stone masonry for creating small holes.
